>I just picked up a set of Snap-On metric hex wrenches that I'm planning to put up on eBay. I'd appreciate the opinions of more experienced sellers: is something like this likely to go higher before or after Christmas, or won't the holiday matter?

>Ebay has its rhythms and cycles. Right now the buyers seem to be coming back from Thanksgiving. Sales are pretty good. I just opened a store and it is going gangbusters. Check out: planeblades

>I don't think it makes no difference....most important thing to do is to just list it and describe it well with good photos. I did a quick search for Snap on allen wrenches and found a set that sounds sort of simular to yours though a couple extra wrenches and is in Inch and it sold for $26. See the link below. Maybe yours will go for more...or maybe less but doesn't look like you can expect to get anything near what Snap on sells them for.

I sell lots on the ebay, have for many years, and I really don't see much diffrence in one time period or another or one day to another. Some things go though cycles and are "Hot" and then "cold"...right now Yankee push drills are hot...I sold one of those plastic handle Yankee 46s the other night for $57 while everlasts chisels are down some from what they used to be. Main thing again is to just do a good job listing the stuff and it will sell for what it is "worth"......Todd
