a few firsts this weekend.

>Well, this weekend was the first time I've attempted to build anything wood related since I "gave up" being a cabinetmaker in lieu of a project manager. Because I can now do anything wood related that I care to, I figured why not try some new things (for me). So, I tried my hand at turning a Makore plate, a christmas tree ornament, and I also made another ornament by relief carving....All this was new to me, as I haven't done any turning or carving. It was freedom for me, and I plan on doing much more. I'll post some pics when I get better at it, not now. Thanks for listening,
