>Has anyone ever seen or heard of a Kekionga Handsaw, or know where it was made? The blade is marked, 40 Kekionga Hand Made, with a picture of an Indian Chief. Thank You

Simonds

David Miller from Iowa

>Simonds had a line of handsaws with native american names & images - mostly Iroquois chiefs if memory serves (it often doesn't anytmore). If that is it it would be Fitchburg, Massachusetts

>Thank You David. That gives me somewhere to start. I have searched the internet for quite awhile now useing the word Kekionga and all I came up with was sites about Indians & Fort Wayne, IN. Nothing about the saw. Take Care, Ron

>Hello again Ernie. The saw had really good etching on it. Easy to see. I just tilted the blade towards the light until I could see it good through the camera and took the picture. Take Care, Ron
