Replacement tote for a Stanley #8

>Got myself a Type 11 #8 today. It's a good user with quite a bit of "experience", but the tote has seen better days...

I know I could make a replacement tote myself, I just don't have the time, so purchasing a replacement is my way to go. But it seems that replacements are becoming difficult to get... LV used to carry some, but they're not available anymore. I checked a couple more places, no luck.

Second question, does anyone know if a LN blade and new chipbreaker fit a Stanley #8? I'd like to give them a try...

Depending on Mike's reasons for quitin' might not be as nifty as one might think :-(

It is *so* difficult to charge woodworker's "the right price" (a living wage) for working wood.
