A2 vs O1 and a tormek.

>while plane shopping I see that two options are available for purchase. A2 and O1. I tried following the thread below on the steels but i could not distinguish theoretical information and practical information.

bottom line is I have a Tormek grinder and sandpaper (i.e. scary sharp)

which option is bets suited to work with my stuff?

Tormek will handle steel tougher than A2

>Your system will handle O1 or A2. If you use silicon carbide paper I think you can even do the more abrasion resistant steels to practical sharpness if you start with a hollow grind, which you will. At least I have abraded CPM3V with silicon carbide paper, though it has a short life in this application.
