Little Bottle Trick

>I am always searching for a nice little clear bottle to put my sharpening oil in, one that is small and not easily knocked over. Well, I think I've finally cracked it. We had some of those travel size bottle of Scope mouth wash, and I liked the design of the bottle as it has a wide footprint. I had it kicking around the shop thinking that one day I'd find something to plug the top so there remainded alonly a small hole. This morning while looking at it, I realize that the little plastic threads was actually an insert, and the only thing holding it in the cap was a little ridge on the bottom of the cap. with a razor knife I cut that ridge off, seperated the insert from the cap and threaded the insert back onto the bottle. than I took a tiny drill bit and bored a hole thru the top of the insert, and it worked marvelous!! Now all you've got to do is either pull the outer cap off, or push it on and the bottle is sealed. I think it will make for a nice little sharpening oil bottle.
