Anyone have any Hand Tool don't misses for London? I'm not going myself but I did mention that there was a particularly good tool store to a friend, but I can't now find the url. Any Ideas?

>LOML and I honeymooned through southern Ontario and upstate New York on motorcycle. In fact, London may have been the town that we visited carrying the heads (two - it was a BMW) from our motorcycle when they fritzed (three memorable days in a private campground while I rebuilt the top end). Let me tell you, hitchhiking while carrying motorcycle heads guarantees you strange looks, but the people were quite nice. We even hitched up to Toronto, because the dealer who did the work didn't have one valve guide, and the man who picked us up delivered us directly to the Toronto dealer.
And it's right pretty country.

>If you're there on a Saturday, go down to Portobello Road on Saturday morning. Portobello Road is London's giant flea market. Any cabbie can take you. Several old tool dealers are regulars there and sometimes you can pick up nice stuff at good prices. Three years ago I picked up a nice, crisp Norris A-5 for about $200. I don't know what the prices are today, but that was a good deal even then.
London is my favorite city. Have fun.

I also remember they spent their honeymoon in Sydney NS and planned to go back again....
Cape Briton is lovely in the summer, you might not want to be there in late fall - early winter when it gets nice and cold and wet!
