>I've been looking at non-wood/non-tool blogs for a couple months and just decided to see if there are any non-commercial, non-magazine-based, woodworking or handtools blogs out there.

I stumbled onto x-ray of a living head, which reiterates the old adage: a picture is worth a thousand words.

I thought you pneumatic guys out there might be amused and enlightened by it.

Anyway, if you gage that nail length against a human head it looks about 5" long, not 3.5 like the average framing nailer.
