Turning saw project

>Thanks to the guys at Tools for Working Wood. Here's my turning saw. I love it. It is so much better than the coping saw I was trying to use because it is much more rigid.
Shop Notes:
No electrons were harmed in the making of this project, except I used a jig saw to rip the basic pieces out. Who wants to rip if they can avoid it?
The material is hickory except for the toggle which is some sort of tropical hardwood that I had a few scraps of. The hickory is surprisingly easy to work with a rasp. I don't have the fancy Ariou hand cut rasp, just a good ole Nicholson.
The plans and hardware are from Tools for Working Wood. I simplified my plans slightly to adapt to all hand construction.
The string is just some old twine I had lying around. I think I'll try to get some better string someday. Any suggestions?
Cutting the tiny mortise and tennon joints is a lesson in patience. To an ex-framing carpenter, it's like learning Zen.
The picture is framed on a cut off piece of Baltic Birch plywood that I got from Paxton's for free the other day (drive by gloat!). They had a sign on this pile of plywood cut offs that said "Free to good home". I took 'em. Every one.
