>First, I'd like to thank Ted Owen, who has served so faithfully here as moderator for the past several years, and to William Duffield, who has also moved on to greater things. This forum is living evidence of their guidance and wisdom. We'll miss them both.
Now, to usher in a new era, I'd like to introduce our two new co-moderators, neither of whom is a stranger to our regular visitors: Wiley Horne and Jim Shaver. I told them that the Hand Tools board is so civilized that they probably wouldn't have much moderating to do, so they both accepted my offer. I'm counting on you folks to prove me right. :-)
Wiley and Jim are both hand tool aficionados and longtime denizens of our messageboards. But, besides their demonstrable expertise in the subject, I nominated them because of their ability to see and understand the dynamics of the discourse here and to deal with it in a reasonable and level-headed manner. I have total confidence in them and I invite you all to support and encourage them and to make their jobs as easy as possible.
So, without further ado, I welcome Jim Shaver and Wiley Horne to the fold of WoodCentral moderators. Thanks, guys, for agreeing to take on these important duties. I wish you all the best in your new roles here!
