>The last picture posted showed a blunt nose. I shaved a bit with it and was not surprised to see the shavings pile up. A few sessions with the drill press sander and now the nose is streamlined. It clears shavings much better.

Took me a few years to grasp this concept, but he is right. There is almost always a way to improve a tool beyond what the manufacturer has done.

>Because if I were an artist I would engrave all sorts of fancy stuff. A brass or bronze lever cap with engraving all over it would be just the bees knees.
