>In case you missed the banner at the top of the message index, our friend Chris Schwarz will be hosting a special guest chat with Konrad Sauer on Sunday night, November 12. This should be a juicy occasion for all you hand-tool fanatics, as Sauer's work is just about as good as it gets. I've handled a couple of his planes now, and the craftsmanship and design are both impeccable. Maybe someday I'll own one for myself. At any rate, I just uploaded the formal chat announcement.
