You might try your local library, and see if they carry them (mine's got #5, the library consortium it's part of has No. 1 from 1977, which has no number - apparently it didn't occur to them with the first one that there would be successors).
In the last few years, when I go to book sales, I watch for auction catalogs that include furniture. They're usually dirt cheap - once the auction's over, who cares? - and, while they tend to show just the front, they often have some interesting examples of a particular furniture type, since interesting pieces are more auctionable.
I also have all the issues of Home Furniture, a Taunton series that had two-page articles on pieces of furniture with pics and discussions of the design decisions. An excellent magazine that didn't fly and lasted about two years. These are probably not easy to come by, but if you happen to find any in a book sale, garage sale, etc., grab them. I just looked on eBay, and they are going for more than they retailed for!
