Woodrough and McParlin Medallion

>FYI, the device and the motto on the Woodrough & McParlin Medallion is strangely similar to the seal of the City of Cincinnati and the seal of the University of Cincinnati. See pic attached and subsequent pics. Those Woodrough & McParlin boys just couldn't let a good thing go, I guess.
The phrase Juncta Juvant appears on all three and a google search reveals that numerous organizations have this as a motto. Juncta refers to joined together. An English word with this Latin root is Junction. Juvant means strenth or energy. An English word with this Latin root is rejuvenate.
A little searching around reveals several translations or interpretations of the phrase Juncta Juvant, such as:
Strenth through unity
Joining together gives energy
Things joined together are strong
or maybe my own woodworker's translation: Good Joinery is strong.
So, Juncta Juvant to all of us. Or whatever.
