DT saw storage question - request for pics
Joe in a Cleveland suburb
>Hello.
I'm looking for a way to store my Adria DT saw. I have a cabinet I built a number of years ago based on a cabinet Mike Dunbar made in an issue of FW. It's one of the few projects I've made using mostly hand tools. I even used cut nails trying to make a semi-authentic colonial type cabinet. It was one of those projects you do just for the heck of it to use up scraps I used scrap 2x12 pine junk. I use this cabinet to store my small collection of planes, scrapers, chisels, and other hand tools.
Anyway, I currently just lay the DT saw on one of the shelves. The blade is exposed and one of these days I'm going to hit it with a plane or something and damage it. I would like to attach some kind of holder to the door of this cabinet and be able to set the saw into it horizontally. I'm drawing a blank on how to do this or what it should look like.
Can you show me a picture or two of how you store your saws?
Thank you,
Joe
