>should you decide to accept it concerns veneer saws. I've found several plans on how to make one. What is fuzzy to me concerns their blades and use. Band saw blades are recommended for making one today. Has anyone made and used one already and have opinions on what is the best or optimum blade to use? Also, and this applies to using a rip saw for the job, how would a craftsman have held the piece to be resawed? Most solutions tend to put pressure on the kerf, closing it up and making the job harder. If I were one of Adam's 18th century apprentices how would the master expect me to do this job correctly?
