>Those 8 cups of coffee are kicking in once again. This should have been postedin the LN 5.4 Bronze thread below. Guess I should stop drinking the free coffee here at work and hit the free beer/ wine ;)

>Hi Dan

I ordered from LN Australia - support the local and all that. But it is a long weekend here in Oz and, as I am concerned about supply running short, I have emailed Tom LN to make sure one is set aside for me.

While I generally buy directly from LN USA, I am a little concerned that the weight of the #4 1/2 will have a large penalty in international shipping costs, plus there is the ever-present danger of import duty. Over the years I have managed to escape most charges for import duty, but have I been burned a few times. More recently the Marcou smoother cost me $300. Ouch!

Of course in time I will write about my observations.

Regards from Perth

Derek

>Hi Derek

I called LN USA today to ask some other questions and they have 60 left so I am sure you are gonna be okay

I also agree with you about supporting the local supplier and bought mine from LN Canada

>Lots of job openings if you are into Special effects for feature films, MOW's along with TV series work. You'd sit right across the hallway from the pub to boot. I always shake my head at how a company can give its employee free drinks anytime, all the time and so far have never had any legal issues.
