When I made my Pinewood Derby car back in the dim ages I used a cloth backed abrasive the came on a roll. You could take about a foot, hold it at both ends and shape by pulling it back and forth. Dad said it was "3M Elec-Tro Cut Cloth". Anyone know if they still make it ? I KNOW whats going to happen when I lay a rasp on these handles to shape them ! POOF, dust !
