Attaching Sanding Disks to MKII

>I know this forum has discussed the techniques used to attach the sanding disks to the MKII Power Sharpening system. Can anyone explain to me the best/easiest way to attach the sanding disks to the platters without getting air bubbles in the way.

Thanks

Bart

>Spray the platter with water, bend the ahesive sanding disk so it looks like a taco sheet, put it down the platter, then use a J-roller to push the water under the sanding disk from the center to the edge.

Taco

>Fold the disk loosely like a taco, and get one line of adhesive down across the disk (centering the hole in the center of course).

Then very slowly let down each wing of the taco while rubbing out the bubbles with your other hand. Slow and steady results in good adherance with minimal tiny bubbles.
