>It feels nice to finally be able to share things with you guys, this is my first attempt, so it may go awry. These are pics of some of my favorite hand tools. A Type 11 #5 I pulled off the bay, a nice #2 I bought for 10 bucks at a garage sale (I know I suck), the 4" drawknife for a dollar at the same sale, my trusty #3, and my #78 and a #49 tounge and groove plane that a freind gave me.

>Take any picture that is smaller thean 40k or resized to <40k. Put it in a file on your computer. Click brouse lower down on the Post Response form, and navigate to your file. Double click and post or preview.

>I'm surfing the web with W98 and a dial-up, so I am a real technical expert. I did hear someone say that if you open the JPG, and then right click on it, in the newer versions of the OS you get a resize promp. Might not be the best way, but if it works that would be something.

>What camera did you get? I find the 40K limit is a little bit small sometimes, I think most of my pics end up being around 60-70K that I post on-line. Size them to about 500 pixels wide and then save them in a pretty low resolution. Adobe Photoshop allows me to choose what size file I want to save it as when I resize the file and then save it. Most people space provided on-line for a web page by whatever company they buy their web service from. You can find out by going to your provider's web page and searching for it. My web service, CoreComm, has an FTP service that works very good for me to upload pics to my web space. I can load the pics to my web space and then link to them. Works pretty good. The easiest thing to do is to resize the file to about 400 pixels wide maybe and then save in a low resolution to get the file under 40K. All of this will seem very confusing at first, but it really is worth prusuing until you understand it, at which point it is about as easy as riding a bike.

>I don't have a photo editor here at work so I have to e-mail the pictures to my self. I think I right click on the image and selest mail picture to option and then send it as the lowest resolotion. maybe that will help.
