Update on island find

>Well,patience paid off this time.The woman who had the tools let me wade thru all the junk and make a pile of what I felt I neeed/wanted and it set for awhile while she did some homework.
The pile included 2 medium sized handmade wood tool boxes(full) and a small bench with a nice old cast iron vice,3 unused Starret combo squares and a protractor square still wrapped and in the boxes.MIB 4C,5C,65,dowel jig(w/instructions),Greenlee folding handle drawknife(MIB),#30 angle divider(w/instructions),A cigar box full of cutters for 45/55 plane,Stanley 48,191,#3 and #7(war era),about 20 Diston saws including 3 backsaws,2 dozen socket chisels(mostly Swan and Whitherby) and afew high quality(Porter Cable,Milwaukee,Makita,etc) tailed apprentices for the wife`s business and 2,5 gallon buckets of assorted rust.
Seems Cecil Pierce was a relative and she found out he and I were friends,said she was glad to see the tools going to someone who would take care of them and "Clean the rust off and put them back to work".
The price she wanted was a REAL steal so I gave her $150 above it and offered to clean the shop/basement out and haul the old plumbing fixtures,rustly nails,mismatched hardware etc off after I help her find a home for the stationary tools.
Call me stupid but I feel real good about the deal.I slept very well after bringing our (the wife and me) purchases home.
