Been there, done that too. :~( What really drives me really bongers tho is when I try to find the first piece I had cut. I have no patience when it comes to looking for things---especially when I just had it in my hand a second ago, and had I been you I would of looked for that 68"er for right at 10 seconds than turned into Tasmania Devil, and there is no teiing what would of happened from there.

This makes me wonder, when in the shop, what lights others short fuses?

Forgetting I burned an inch

Funny thing, it came up an inch short when I tried to install it.

Oh, well - the shower rod LOML bought after that is much prettier than the garbage sale one.

The idea is that it`s easier to not have to remember to add one and makes impending mistakes easier to catch.

Pick one up,sharpen it,mark a piece,put it down and you never see it again!I too share the "I just had it in my hand not 5 seconds ago" syndrome.

The worst was when SWMBO asked why I was still in the shop turning the air blue instead of working on her list.When I explained I had lost yet another pencil and by God I wasn`t gonna let THIS one get away she calmly reached over and plucked it out of the band at the back of my cap then walked away shaking her head.

Yeah,those pencils really trip my circuit breakers!
