>I was fiddling around on the computer Monday and checked the date/time on the lower bar of my screen.I use windows XP home. The date was set at wed sept 6. I set it to the correct date and walked away.Later that day I logged on to WC and noticed that the same messages had cherries in front of them that I read earlier and there was nothing new.So I put the date back to Wed and I got 31 new messages when I refreshed the page. What gives?Anybody got a clue what is causing this?---Jack
>It has to do with when your cookie from WoodCentral got set and the current time. Maybe one of the admins from the site can explain it better, but that is the basic answer.
>Ok,so I figured it must have something to do with cookies. I deleted all cookies, set the clock/timer to the correct date and logged on to WC to establish a cookie. No new messages,no cherries at all.6 hours later I log back on,still no messages. Ok,,,so I set the clock ahead one day. refresh WC ,no difference. Set it two days ahead ,bingo..18 new messages.---I'm confused. Any ideas? I guess I could just keep it set two days ahead but it would be nice to get it right.---Jack
