Looking for narrow plane irons

>Does anyone know where I can purchase narrow plane irons (e.g., 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch)? I am making a plough (plow?) plane out of wood, and to this point have just been using some Sorby mortise chisels as a plane iron in my prototype models.
When I was in India some years ago, I ran into a company called Anant which made various planes that had an appearance and a quality similar to older Stanley/Record planes. I presume Anant would make replacement irons, but I can't find any sources for their planes/parts in Canada.
Of course, it would be really neat if someone applied 21st century metallurgy/manufacturing technologies to develop a substantially improved plough plane. Where is Rob Lee when I need him??!?
