>Chico... it is of course a Marcou M15A BUS... arrived with me about 8 weeks ago... a real treat in every way... for the eyes... the touch (great wood... and handles that FIT my mits)... and great in use... when that lad moves, there is little stopping him (8.50 lbs. or 3.85 kg.)!

Thanks to Philip for making such inspired planes... I really wish him the very best success in his venture... we the WW world profit from such gifted fellows... and also thanks to Derek Cohen for the review that spurned me to do my 'research', and make the decision to buy.

Sadly, I have had appalingly little time to really put the plane through its paces. The little I have done so far has however convinced me. Now, I do have about 4 square meters of real Indian teak that is waiting to be turned into a cupboard... that will seperate the Marcous from the rest.

Apologies for the blatant gloat... the little piece I made was really also a gloat... it is a sweetie made from one piece of birdseye maple. It is still waiting delivery this weekend.

I have managed to wrangle out my Life to the point where Time is not really a problem any longer---tho money is*---and I am no longer easily convined of anything, so send me the plane, I'll put it thru it's paces and than if I'm not convinced it's better than my L-N's I'll send it back to you.

*1, Never fails does it, either you have the Time but not the Money, or the Money but not the Time. Given the choice, I'll take the Time tho, so no fussing from me on that score.
