Overheard at the flea market tool vendor

>I was examining some tools in a vendor tent at Hillsville when two persons approached the table. One, person A, was clearly leading the expedition. Person A picks up a plane and proceeds to explaing to person B that "this is a plane". Person A went on the explain that is was used for doors and made planing motions. I didn't hear all the discussion. Then A picked up a hammer with one round end and the other flat, and explained, "this is a pin ball hammer". I waited anxiously for the explanation of how it worked or for what it was used, but they had become bored with tools and passed on to another stall with lots of old ugly glassware and china.
