>I have cracked the lever cap on my plane. I have searched unsuccessfully to find replacement parts. Would anyone know where I could find one? or would another brand fit the Record?

>I believe they pretty much the same. Or you could find a beater on ebay if'in you don't want to make a franken plane. I believe a few ww suppliers (highland hardware, garett wade) sell replacement parts also.
