For the interested out there, I looked at LN's Independence tenon saw as well (same price) and could see the tiny ripples in the saw plate where the teeth had been sheared in. No such (small) distortions in the Adria saw plates, they are perfectly smooth.
The only minute query I could possibly raise to Adria is that there are marks from the saw set on the teeth. Not sure why a saw set needs to have ridged jaws that leave marks.
Anyway, they are much better than I am, so I'm very happy and glad to have an excuse to send some � sterling to Mr. Sirotich at last. Long may he continue to tempt the members of WC with such lovely tools!
I have to fly to the US in the morning, so will miss a whole week of shop opportunities. Any woodworkers near Racine, WI (where Johnson Wax comes from)?
