I can't tell you of any specific places to look, ut I, and I'm sure the rest of us expect a full report of your finds when you return. Enjoy your travels. Delay it for another month or so and you might catch some nice leaf-peeping. New England in the Autumn is breath-takingly spectacular.

Be watchful and mindful of Elmer the propertier I hear tell he's are real nut case, and in my opinion borders on being a real a$$hole. In his own mind he thinks he's "screwing " with the tourist for his own amusement. Reminds me of a friends father I knew while growing up. He'd tell these stupid jokes and make ridiculous statements thinking thar he was fooling you, and just out of kindness I'd play along with him even tho I knew better. Got real annoying over the years.

well October is still flea season up here so I think you'll have an interesting trip. Newfane flea in Vermont on a Sunday..and way too many more..I'll email you with a list if you'd like....for color by october you may want to try southern new england..peak for up north will probably be in september..october might be Connecticut rhode island and massachusets...and if you're going through CT..drop by..I'm right off I-84
