Driving me crazy!

>I played hooky on the way to work today, and stopped by an estate sale a mile from work. What I found caused me to be even later, because I had to go to my credit union to take out money from my "Bill's Toys" account. $55 later...

I left the stuff out in the car, and am spending the day wanting to get home and play with it. Hard to concentrate.

I'll post more detail and maybe a pic or two either tonight or this weekend...

>Nice to see you getting all giddy over some rust Bill.

Is the fence on the curved cutting gauge offset from the rod and cutting wheel? It seems that it would have to be so to work effectively.

I could use an auxillary handle for my large crosscut saw ($2 at a garage sale) too. I've used it without the handle with good success but having a better grip for the second hand would've made cutting through some logs much easier.

Congrats on the haul.

Regards,

Mike

p.s. I've been enjoying the Wood magazines you donated to the cause. I particularly like that each issue has an old tool-friendly article.
