>Putting the body in for bead blasting today and the japaning material is on it's way ! Thinking ahead . . . the sole and sides stay bare metal . . . the inside bottom and sides get paint. What about the top and end edges ? I've looked at a LOT of pics but some edges look bare and some almost look like they've got paint. I would think that paint on the leading and trailing edges just MIGHT get "sucked" under into the surface of wood. To the Purest (none HERE ! LOL !) whats the way to go ?
