>A mixed bouquet of Dave Jeske Blue Spruce Toolworks dovetail chisels. They feel as good as they look. Now I have to make a nice box for them so they don't rattle around in my tool well. From the top cocobolo, dogwood, African blackwood, and tulipwood.

The "patterned" of these is a bit different that what I've seen before, are they "special purpose" chisels?

They are designed to do the final fitting of dovetails or similar fine work. They are relatively small, the handles are very comfortable, and to me they feel perfectly balanced. The arrises are tiny so you don't need to use a skew chisel to get into corners. The side bevels are hollow ground to help with that too. And let's see... Oh yeah, they're real purty.
