Bridge City TW HP-6 Plane ... *LINK*

The concept of replaceable soles looks OK but I'm wondering how the plane compares in use (cutting beads and such) with something like a #55 (I think that's the right number, but my reference is a Record #405, not the Stanley version). I'm right for regular block and rebate planes, so I'm eally only attracted by the high angle molding options.
any comments or experience?
