>Nice write-up, Ellis. Except for the Brideports and surface grinders, the photos remind me of how things look at summer tastings held at various pastoral Oregon vineyard-winerys. We need all the images of tranquility that can be found these days.

I remember some years ago seeing a magazine article with a couple of photos of the onsite foundry. One shot showed large stacks of bronze ingots. Another showed two guys pouring molten bronze from a 3 gallon crucible. Another showed a stack of raw castings. Does LN still do that from raw materials? Any shots of it?

>I have some shots of the old foundry at LN from about 15 years ago, but I would have to get an archaeology permit to dig them up. Nowadays, LN outsources all their castings, iron, bronze and special alloys.
