Oneway Flat Grinding Jig *LINK*

I just saw this jig on the Oneway site while looking at some turning tools. I have the Wolverine sharpening jigs for my turning tools, this jig looks interesting.
Do any of you own one of know of some published feed back on it's performance?
It looks like it might be a good tool for hollow grinding the edge of an iron with control.

Interesting concept though the main thing I feel about hollow grinding is that it is that I don't need a jig. The way it works is you start your grind floating in the middle of the bevel. So at first you aren't cutitng anything all that important. I check a few times until I get the position right, then it's no problem to grind right down to the final position. Once it's hollow ground who needs a jig, it indexes solidly off the heel and edge, and you already have the ultimate micro bevels to sharpen.
One thing that looks dodgy is if your stones all need to be at the same level, and with the wheels running on the surrounding material it would need to be perfectly coplanar. Otherwise, no need to pay good money to sharpen off angle. I can do that without a jig.

That is what I thought as well....just was wonderiung if the concept of the jig was proven out yet. I really like my Veitas MkII jig, so this one from Oneway would be only for hollow grinding if I chose it.

If all I did was grind plane blades I probably would, I guess I don't because I do so many different thigns on it. I had the Veritas for a while, but when I put the oneway Jig on for turning, that I never use (??), I took the Veritas back, cause I never used it either. But for that kind of thing I thought the veritas grinding jig was better.
Oneway are smart people, I don't see why their jig wouldn't work, it looks like it indexes off separate things, and I don't really see why that would be impossible to engineer. The one problem is complexity. If you really want to stick with the Mark II, it's hard to beleive the Oneway jig would be all that simple compared to just an adjustible rest. Anyway, like LV they are good people and would take it back if you didn't like the look of it.
