There is an antique dealer (I would say antique tool dealer, but he has some glassware in the shop) that is called the Parsonage. He has a ton of tools, reasonable prices and he has let one of my buddies and me into the �back room.� There was another tool dealer off of Route 4; I believe it was called Betty Washington. There was a large number of antiques shops along Route 1 from the Massachusetts State line to Kennebunkport Maine that had a good selection of old tools, but they had tourist prices on them as well.

>Hi Tony, One place not to be missed is the Old Boston Tool Room in Kingston, NH. Phil Whitby is one of the old time tool dealers having contributed to the Stanley book and other publications. His shop is either by appointment or by chance and is aboout an hours drive from Phil Lowe's place. He's at the junction of Rte 125 and Old Boston Road. Great selection, fair prices, and a nice selection of books too. Unfortunately I live too close to him(15 minutes)and it's a horrendous temptation.

I used to go to MS Carter in Portsmouth, but gave up about a year or 2 ago. Prices have become high and the quality of the pickings has deteriorated greatly in the last few years.
