Wooden plane hardware source?

Doug Reynolds in Seattle

>I want to make wooden handplanes as in the book, "Wooden Planes and How to Make Them" by Perch and Lee. I've looked everywhere for a source of brass cheese head screws and brass thumb screws. Fillister head screws do not have a head as large as cheese head screws. Anyone know of a parts source or alternative to buying up old planes for parts?
