G;ue on the clamps update.

>Well I was going to soften up the glue with steam from the tea kettle but the Mrs. got rid of it. So I got out a blue handled chisel and started to chip and scrape away. Some of it came off easy and some didn't, but it worked. I guess after trying the putty knife I thought the chisel wouldn't work much better but it sure did. After getting the glue off I waxed the bars and man does the jaw slide nice and easy, much better than when new. Well, I've got 7 done and 5 more to go. Definately a lesson learned.
Thanks for the input everybody. John.
