thank you for asking. I appreciate the concern. its starting to heal slowly but i think itll be a while - 6 weeks im told. so much for my golf & ww for a while. wife forced me to close the shop for some time at lest until it heals.

dr. gave me a whole whack of meds for pain and for the infection. diddnt know a bone could get infected? REAL pain subsided after a few days. i still get the ocaisional shooting pain but ill manage. codeine is a pain in the butt. if you know what i mean....lol

Im vvery lucky i still have finger,

brother in laws brother had a tree fall on his leg. had to amputate below knee. so mine is no big deal.

too embarassed to tell. suffice it to say dont do ww in a hurry and late at night. my first intention was to use a spokeshave but i didnt have one. i will be lookin for one soon :o)

I use power tools so infrequently and when i did, it bit me.

I've been hurt a few times, usually from being too tired or distracted by someone (e.g. my daughter) but never with permanent injuries. I can empathize some.

Hand tools can do a lot of damage as well. I had a really bad chisel bite a couple times too.
