True in some ways...

>Gerry, I sympathize with you and all Cubs fans. A 100 year rebuilding process is not acceptable. In Toronto there is a similar situation with the Maple Leafs. 1967 was the last time they won Lord Stanley's hardware yet Leaf-Nation continues to sell out every game, every year. Giving up your season tickets? No problem because there are 10's of thousands of people on the waiting list to snatch 'em up.
As for the World's Greatest Beer Garden...on this you are wrong. Oktoberfest in Munich has long been established with that title. In North America, the 3 biggest consumers of beer (going back approx. 15 years now) were Oktoberfest in Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario (a single week) ranks #1. Yup, more beer consumed than anywhere else over a full year. Skydome during its glory years was number 2 and the University of Guelph is #3. Sorry, Chicago, you're still rebuilding.
Kindest regards,
