Happy 4th of July.

John Clifford in Chicago

>Happy 4th of July to everyone. Enjoy the Holiday, I've got to work tonight :( . Come tomorrow I don't want to hear about anybody losing any fingers. We try real hard to keep our fingers attached while woodworking let's not lose them to something to as stupid as fireworks.

Have a cold one for me tonight while I'm at work and take care, John.

>Bummer you've got to work tonight John. hopefully you won't be driving home with all the drunks afterwards!

I don't have to work tonight and I still aren't going anywhere. I'll stay safe and sober right here at home and watch the fireworks on the tellie. Besides, I want to get up early in the morning and go rust hunting. :~) I fiqure the number of buyers will be down, so the bargains should be easy to get. :~) :~)Coarse, the number of sellers may be down as well, but they'll be looking to make a buck just the same.

I fiqure the neighbors will be blowing off theirs as they do every year and scaring the dickens out of my cats and agitating my dog. Residential neighborhoods like the one I live in here in Surburbia are no place for those cheap-o fireworks IMHO.

Don't work to hard alright.

>Good luck tomorrow in your hunt. Unfortunately I will be working hard tonight, I'm a Sgt. with the Chicago Police Department, the 4th is always a busy night.

Take care, John.

>You're telling / me/us to take care? YOU take care!! Watch out for them fools who can't go out and have a good time without getting stupid. Instant a-holes--just add alcohol. How come the lyrics of "The Night Chicago Died" are running thru my head?

Check in next chance you get to let us know that you're alright.

God Bless the Boys In Blue!
