William Duffield, on the Cohansey

>I spent Sunday afternoon at the Joyners' Shop at Pennsbury Manor, where friends had just set up the Greate Wheel Lathe. It was hot and humid, but that didn't prevent most of us from taking our turn at the crank. Yesterday and today, my back and shoulder are complaining. At Pennsbury, there are also a treadle lathe and a springpole lathe, and remnants of another old springpole lathe set up outside the shop.

Other hand tool subjects are also welcome for discussion.
