Finger Check!

Ernie Miller

>I will be doing my normal finger check on Wednesday after the holliday any one stupid enough to damage one with fireworks will have the woodworking tools conficated untill they are deamed worthy of getting them back. Remember the reason for the holliday and think about all that has been given for your freedom. It's not about the beer, brats & babes you know.

>I thought we declared our independence so we could enjoy beer, brats and babes. Imagine celebrating the 4th with a glass of sherry, some fine English cooking (an oxymoron), and a woman who looks like Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Wishing all a happy and safe Independence Day.

Gerry

It ain't the 4th without fireworks.

>Haggis grills up very well. Add some chips, maybe a fried egg, and some pickled onions plus a dollop of tomato ketchup and you're on your way to a fine meal. It goes well with dark beer, coffee, tea, or even whisky. Slainte.

>back in High School. We heaved a lighted one from a bicycle late at night and blew a piece of curb about 4' long off the street in front of the town library. Scared the bejabbers out of a bunch of neighbors. Cops came and we said it was some older boys in a red Falcon Convertable. :>)

By the way if you are messing around with fireworks this 4th, never never never light one off of a sparkler. DAMHIKT.

Victor - still have all ten fingers but purely by luck of the draw so to speak.
