>I don't have one, from the picture it seems designed to align off the back, which eliminates (if successful) the major problem with many of the guides, in that they align off the sides or top, parts that are often skewed to each other or the back. So check that you are properly registering the back of the chisel to the rods (how this is achieved was not visible in picture I saw, but the most obvious option is that cuts in the sides press in and up against the rollers. I am familliar with that option and it often won't register from the black if a chisel is narrow and not properly side groud). If you aren't registered you may have to fiddle until you are, try rubber shims or something, or regrind side bevels if it's a cheap chisel.
If you are properly aligned then it's technique, it looks wide and stable, so it shouldn't rock off to the side. It is called a honing guide, and normaly it would be faster to freehand the worst of the twist off on a very coarse stone or grinder.

This registers the flat side of chisel parallel to the stone surface.
If the crossection of chisel is twisted, i.e. edges not symmetrical or square, this may be the source of your problem.
I find the projections much too short for easy honing so run the wheels of the guide on 1/4 inch plastic sheet. This stone sized sheet has a slot cut up the middle so that the chisel is honed in the slot!
