What I like about Wood Central Dot Com

Roy Anderson

>I was in my modest little workshop last night, banging out a rough assembly table and it hit me that I was working with a new found efficiency and confidence. I had the plan, the tools and the skills to go where I wanted to go. Much more so than as little as a year ago.

Why?

Well, in no small part, it's the great information provided here. This place is the best place to get the info! I think it comes down to two fundamental reasons that this is true:

1. There are great people contributing their help free, just because they are good guys and like to help. As I learn more about the regulars here, I am stunned at their stature in the woodworking community and yet how accessible they are.

And 2. Lest we overlook this factor, this site has the best interface, the easiest to navigate, search and understand of all the wood messageboard sites, at least that I have found, and I surf a lot.

And don't forget about the frequent tips about other sites that are often included in the messages and add depth to what is presented here.

So, I'm banging out my assembly table and banging the drum for WoodCentral Dot Com. Woo Haa!

>I couldn't have asked for a nicer endorsement of our forums, Roy. We certainly aim to please. Glad it's making a difference in your woodworking. It certainly has in mine. There's just no end of great, in-depth information showing up here all the time.

Thanks to all who participate and make this forum what it is.
