Are Hirsch and 2 Cherries one and the same?

So I'm looking on LV (favorite place to shope) and I see the Hirsch which I thought I had heard were one and the same.

>2 Cherries are recommended by most people and also come in a wider range of sizes than Hirsch. Don't know about the other side of the border, but in Canada 2 Cherries are cheaper than Hirsch. Had them for years, tried and tested.

I did a bit of digging a while ago, and two cherries (Kirschen) also own Hirsch - I can recall a comment being relayed from the US distributor to the effect of the chisels being identical.
A search on the archives here on the following words should bring it back up
