UPS Tragedy Revisited

>For those of you that remember the UPS disaster that was my miter saw when it finally arrived after apparently being in a train wreck, I've started rebuilding it.

Well, see the attached pic of where I started, then the subsequent pic of where I am now.
Not quite finished yet, but making good progress. Thanks to all the good advice I got here on the subject of making saw handles from Skip Falls, Scott Burr, David Tardiff and also from the great web site at norsewoodsmith.com which tells virtually everything you would want to know about how to make a handle.
