>Its the Rookie again ! Just 'cause its Millers-Falls is it desirable by de-fault ? I just had a quick look as SWMBO was moving faster than I. A bench plane, pretty loose and the tote & knob were wood but painted black. 'Bout the size of a #4. Very clean though.

>Mostly solid handplanes but like all manufacturers there are more desireable models and vintages. Think earlier years and unpainted tote and knob. Look for the hinged levercap. It beds the iron better. Other posters will correct me or add to the features that make M-F collect....er useable.JR
