Infill Plane *LINK*

>Hi Guys

Well, I'm broke again, as per usual. So I built something with an eye to selling it. I never do this.

So watch for it on ebay pretty soon. My handle is scottg of course. Try getting an ebay handle like that today :-).

This is purpleheart and mother of pearl in the knob.

Be sure to look at all the pix. (copy/paste the first one since I can't figure out how to get it to appear in the text)

The last one, the clickable link is the true color of the wood. It's particularly dark rich fine grain. I was having a fit with color balance yesterday.

If you or those you know collect infills, please consider it.

yours, Scott

>What a beauty Scott! It was a shock to see how small it is...how the heck do you get all those details in such a tiny plane? Needle files and a loupe? It's a jewel...Rob

>Hey Scott, that really cool! I didn't see any other pics than the one in the link, so I don't know if you showed any action shots or not. Does it work well? Is this built to be used or just a decoration? Either way, it's real cool, and good looking. How'd you make the sole?

Let us know when it hits de-bay.

>Thanks Guys

It's 3 1/2" long all in.

So while it's certainly usable, I couldn't recommend bridge or barn raising work much :-)
