However, every year the following companies show up at our local woodshow. The first guy (Andy Jantunen) always has a good selection of quality curly maple. Prices aren't cheap.

We also have a local hardwood dealer here in Calgary http://www.blackforestwood.com/ but they rarely carry curly maple.

If you want a small quantity of very high quality curly Maple, I would first call Andy Jantunen and tell him what you want. He always seems very agreeable to work with, so I'm sure he would set a few very high quality boards aside for you that match your description.
